QUALITY CONTROL

Quality for Global Synergy Buying Group S.A. means ensuring the quality of its products, respecting its customers and consumers and satisfying their needs in the best possible way.

From the stage of product development to the delivery of the products to your premises, GSBG applies documented control procedures aimed at ensuring product quality and safety. Through our in-house testing laboratory and the external accredited analytical laboratories we work with, we carry out regular checks to ensure high quality and safety of products at all stages of the supply chain.

1. Organoleptic tests
The tests are carried out in the company’s organoleptic testing laboratory by a specialised team of testers. Organoleptic analysis is carried out in order to study the diffrences between competitive products, analyse product preferences, consumer acceptance and assess the product’s life cycle.
2. Physico-chemical and microbiological analyses
Through our associated accredited food analysis laboratories we carry out regular analyses to determine microbiological and physico-chemical parameters of products.
3. Testing of product fraud / authenticity
Depending on the nature of the products, appropriate physico-chemical, molecular and organoleptic analyses and tests are selected to detect possible adulteration of the product.
4. Development and controlling of product declaration
We develop the declaration for our products and check its compliance with the legislation in force in the country where the product is marketed.
5. Documentation of nutrition and health claims
We thoroughly check the validity of the health and nutrition claims accompanying our products to ensure that the requirements of the relevant legislation in the country where the product is marketed are met.

GSBG’s quality and food safety management system is certified to the international standards BRC Agents & Brokers, IFS Broker and ISO 9001.
